Shocking! Not what i expected. My family loves this place. In fact, we prefer it over Rock City. Dont waste your time and "See Rock City". Visit here instead. Lots of fun and adventure.

The Canyon is beautiful. Great place to take kids outside for a day trip. I do not recommend the campground. It is right next to a busy road and you can not drive up your campsite. One will pretty much have to carry all his stuff through the woods and their is only one restroom location that is being shared with visitors and campers all the way across the street. Very inconvenient with little children. Park is great, campsite not at all.

I actually got engaged here! We went in October when it was still warm and we got to see lighting bug larva in the creek bed glow and the dismalites! It was really very cool. Plus just hiking through the canyon was fun. It is small but very pretty

My husband and I went to the Canyon September 16, 2017. The Canyon was beautiful! I loved walking through the big boulders and seeing all the different vegetation growing on the rocks and Canyon floor. Seeing that unique fish and being able to feed them was a plus. I can't wait to take the rest of my family to the Canyon. The country store is also wonderful. The staff was very nice and helpful, not to mention the food was great. I loved the old time feel of the store.

An absolutely stunning and wondrous place! The best "off the path" park I've ever visited by far. It really is like you've traveled back in time or even to another place in time. The almost two mile path criss-crosses over the beautiful winding stream, over and under giant rock formations and through a truly magical forest that will surely take your breath away. Make sure not to walk the path too fast though, you might miss some of the gorges many tiny inhabitants!
